Unless otherwise informed, all courses will be held at Hammersmith, London. The closest London Underground Station is Hammersmith.
What language is the training in?
Our Open Programmes are held in English. Proficiency in English is an essential requirement for attending a LCT training programme, and typically our delegates have studied English to at least an Upper Intermediate level.
If you have any concerns regarding your level of English and / or your ability to follow the training programme, please contact us. We are not an English language school, but we work with partners who provide English language training and from time to time our delegates choose to study English at one of our partner schools before taking our training programme.
In addition, we are able to arrange customised training programmes in other languages upon request. We have conducted training in French, Arabic and Spanish in recent years and several of our training consultants are fluent in other languages. Please contact us if you would like us to arrange a customised training programme in another language.
How many other delegates will there be on my training programme?
The number of delegates per programme depends on a number of factors.
Our Open Programmes are guaranteed to run with only 1 delegate. This means that we will promise not to cancel any Open Programme when there is at least one delegate booked on the programme. As is to be expected with such a broad range of programmes being offered, some programmes attract greater delegate numbers.
In addition, the timing of Visa approvals and client cancellations at short notice may affect delegate numbers.
The maximum number of delegates on our Open Programmes is set at 12.
For Customised Programmes, the number of delegates is always agreed in advance with clients. We have recently run customised programmes for group sizes of over 25 delegates.
Please contact to ask for further information on delegate numbers on specific training programmes.
What do I need for the training?
As part of our LOVE (Live Online Virtual Education) format, all our Courses have been redesigned for remote delivery. Delegates will require internet access, access to Zoom/Teams video conferencing apps. Technical requirements and instructions will be sent to you ahead of the training session.
For onsite/face-to-face training delegates are advised that they should bring their laptop/tablet to their training programme. Training material will be sent directly to your device ahead of the session. Please contact us if you think you will not have access to a laptop/tablet during your training programme.
Where do I stay during the training?
Accommodation is not included as part of the course fees due to the fact that delegates have different requirements. However, we do provide assistance to ensure that delegates secure suitable accommodation for the duration of their course. Attendees will be supplied an accommodation list, with details of over 20 hotels within walking distance from the training centre. Payment must be made directly to the hotels. The list is also available on our website, under Information.
What is the weather like in London?
London has moderate summers and mild and damp winters. Having a raincoat or umbrella handy would be a wise choice. In July and August temperatures average around 20°C but can occasionally soar to 30°C or more. In spring and autumn, temperatures drop to between 11° and 15°C. In winter they hover just below 6°C; it very rarely freezes in London and snow is a very infrequent visitor. It may seem mild, but the dampness can often make it feel much colder. A vest, jumper and warm overcoat may be advisable in such conditions.
