The Strategic Information Technology - Level 2 training program is aimed at project sponsors, analysts, managers, planners, and those who have to provide a strategic response against business requirements. It is designed to provide more information about the Information Technology (IT) choices available to organisations and how these may inform project decisions. Taking strategic considerations as a backdrop, the course examines standard line-of-business applications (CRM, ERP, BI, MI, Content Management, HR, Financials, etc.); typical deployments; management information requirements; project management; and data management issues. The course also looks at rapidly growing developments in corporate IT - social media, device proliferation, and the service cloud. It considers theses against the backdrop of enterprise computing and developments in IT delivery, business operations and planning corporate computing requirements. The focus is on enabling those tasked with delivering IT to meet organisational need. This means reappraising how IT is implemented and delivered, and how this is communicated to the business.
